Last session of 2007

I should say last *portrait* session as I had another "session" later in the day of a live performance of Oregon Ballet Academy's Sleeping Beauty at the LCC theater but I will post that in a new post after I get some of the photos edited. Back to this lovely session with 18-month old E and her 7- and 10-year old cousins:

Congregational Preschool

Alesh & Lea go to Congregational Preschool (CPS) a lovely preschool in the east part of Eugene. CPS is putting together a new website and I was asked to "provide" some images. It was such a great excuse to go and spend some time with the kids in the classroom! I don't know how it is, but CPS has the coolest kids enrolled. Seriously! They are such a friendly bunch. Here is just a little sampling for you...

Another lovely home session with K & S and their family. They are always such a treat for me to photograph. The girls just turned 3. Can you believe it?

Sleeping Beauty at OBA

I had the pleasure of capturing some rehearsal images for the Oregon Ballet Academy of their Sleeping beauty performance. The dancers are just amazing! The spirit, energy and discipline in the studio was something Megan and John should be very proud of!

We had a fun session with 4-year old A. and his 1-year old brother T. who just started to walk. And boy, did he like to walk! It was a cold and rainy day but he just LOVED being outside walking up and down the sidewalk...

Did I say I love 2-year olds?

Well, I certainly do! Little K. was a busy busy 2-year old. We did all sorts of exploration and finished the session off with a nice pine needle cake complete with a candle. Yum!

The happiest 2-year old

Little W. was the happiest 2-year old! I have to admit, I have a soft spot for 2-year-olds and they *are* my favorite age. I alway have to work extra hard to get through to them but it is so rewarding in the end! W. was such a sweetheart. Well, see for yourself:
